Engine Link - OBD II diagnosis App Reviews

App reads my truck as the wrong year and there for does not give me all my sensors that other free apps do. Sent them an email and still have not received anything back. Would be great if I could choose the year and all of my truck. Since it does not give me all my options I just dont use it. Save your money and get you a free app nothing special here.

I bought the app for my ELM327 WiFi adapter because it seemed very resonable priced compared to the competitor apps and I havent regret it so far. Most functions are working as they should but some things could still be improved. Firstly I dont really like the design, it looks somewhat "cheap" and done carelessly. Secondly, as I live in Germany it would be great if the developers could implement fuel consumption in L/100km as this is the typical format here, rather than km/L. Thirdly, fuel tank level doesnt seem to work with my car (SLK 230 facelift version) and is always showing 7%. Other than that, I really like the app and hope the developers will keep on working on it and might maybe even implement some of my proposals. :)

App runs stable with LesCars adapter in European VAG car but doesnt read fuel tank level. No Diesel engine support. Shows metric units but still calculates km/l which is unusual in Europe. Fuel consumption in l/100km would be better for European customers. Customization is pretty cool. Nonetheless, quite expensive.

Well, works right from the beginning. Nice, to have several Informationen in one screen- even better- a few screens you can design yourself. And there is the room for improvment. When metric selected - Why cant I get Temperatures in Celsius in that screens or km/h instead of miles? Havent had a trouble Code to reset- sofar 4Stars.

Done the job but no design and no customizing possible...

This app is great! Has emission test gauge that will tell you of your car will pass Etest. Also very easy to view and clear engine codes!

Connects easily but thats about it. No user info, Guages not customizable,claimed supported pids not actually supported

It says it can read transmission temp, it doesnt even have an option. My cars Obd sends that, it is capable. Other than that it shows the info I see in the cars dashboard and not much more. It also show data horizontally only.

Good apps but need more engine info... Need vertical display pls. Not working now.......

I have a Viecar module and did not like the free app that went with it so I bought the Engine Link app which would not connect (the app is made for LELink adapter but I had read that you could adapt it to the Viecar) I contacted the developer and within 30 minutes I got an answer to my questions and within another 15 minutes an email with a patch that permitted me to connect to the Viecar… The service and support themselves are worth the price...

I used this app to get rid of an annoying "check gas cap" code on my Grand Prix which prevented me from using the remote starter. It connected without any issues to my OBD2 ELM 327 code reader. No more going into a freezing car in the winter. Thanks you guys.

Cant.belove this is free! Its the best free obd app out there. My only complaint is aesthetics.. Pls make it look clean and simple no cheesy graphics if your going to do graphs make them more stylish. Also would be nice to record and export data, maybe some extra performance info like zero to 60 . 1/4 mile times and the like using GPS adding gps tracking in general would be great for mpg and or track use

App does everything it says it does. I love the custom PID screens you can pick from. I purchased a $30 elm27 wifi and it works perfect. I use this for my Prius and Land Rover and it is easy to swap vehicles. Wish list: Can you release this for Google Play??? Pleaseee.... I have a tablet that I would love to run this app on but the only apps on Google Play require the BT Elm 327.
