The app does not work at all!

Functional but with a kludge-y interface

This app was formerly the only BlueTooth OBD app that worked with the LELink reader, which it does. It connects reliably, if slowly, and displays all the usual OBD information, clears trouble codes, etc. If youre savvy, youll be pleased to know that this app allows you to input your own PIDs; the app provides a few sets of custom PIDs for various makes. The problem is the interface. Its frankly a bit ugly and feels 2/3 complete. You can customize the dashboard layout with various gauges, but the process to do so is slow and underdeveloped; positioning the gauges ought to be a neat, snap-to grid and intuitive experience but instead, it feels like something home coded. Not bad, just rustic, and thats not why we have iPhones. The rest of the UI and resulting UX has a number of weakly executed aspects and the app really suffers as a result. To top it off, the app updates rather slowly, making for noticeable lag in the gauges and low resolution logging. This was all adequate when it was the only conparible app, but with something like OBD Fusion available, this app is pretty rough around the edges.

Dont waste your money!

There are much better options! I wish I could get my money back on this one. The user interface is terrible and it lacks customization that some other similar apps offer. If it was free I would still say do not waste your time!

Does nothing. Waste of money.

It took quite a long time to finally connect with my OBD device and then did absolutely nothing. It reported a trouble code, but apparently has no capacity to tell you what it means and attempting to clear it does not work. None of the other features work at all - no engine data, no driving data - nothing. What did I pay for? An app with a cartoonish interface that doesnt do anything? At very least a piece of junk app like this should be free. It isnt. Yet another app to delete. DO NOT BUY.

Waste of money.

Its not compatible with Apple products despite the claim.

Engine link

Total waste of money. Thought it might be a little better than dash command. Boy was I wrong. Junk. Dont waste your money on this app.

Update crap

Just did the update now its telling me the device isnt powered up meaning the LELink Bluetooth obd2 adapter

Works fine

Works fine on my Honda Pilot with Bluetooth LE adapter. Recommended

Works perfect!!

Get an obd adapter from eBay. Connected to my Car right away. Cool interface, tons of features. Like the fire theme and metal theme. Fast fresh rate. It does check trouble code, shows current code, pending code, even history code, clear code, super easy to use. Created transmission temp gauge, battery gauges so I can monitor them real time. So much you can do. Invaluable app!

Works for my escape

Purchased this app specifically because it had the correct pids for my 2007 mercury mariner (ford escape). The trans temp works as well as most the other preconfigured pids. Would like to see the main hud changed to allow for some customization. Fuel level readout in the hud is flaky, but works in the custom area.

It works fine

This app works fine with my little wifi scanner, not all the gauges work...but I think my truck is too old. Can you guys make a version that supports ABS brake systems?

Engine Stink!!!

Worst OBD app EVER!!! Apple has deleted ALL my reviews. Read some of the reviews..Im not the only one! You have to wonder about an app thats so bad that apple is trying to cover it up.. Its not like I was rude in any review attempt and called them crapple. Steve Jobs would allow any review Ive typed.. Simply put: This is THE WORST APP OUT OF THE HISTORY OF APPS PERIOD. It freezes, often unresponsive, lacks MANY common functions every other app has, its the ugliest and least user friendly interface ever designed, and its incompetence is being covered up by AppleAJ. Im screenshotting every one of these before sending and building a collection to post online to give peoples chance to have an uncorrupted opinion before getting scammed. ODB Facile is free and outperforms ENGINE STINK by a million miles. Waste your money if you dont believe me, its your right. And is also my right to call it ENGINE STINK

Refund please

Bought the Kiwi3 OBD II Bluetooth plugin. And this app. And tried several times to connect and it wont. Doesnt work for me. How do I get a refund? I purchased the DashCommand app and it works great. This one is junk.

Works OK but...

It works OK but if you switch to another app i.e. My nav app, the app is frozen and I have to kill it to get it to connect again.

Bare Minimum Reader

Hooks up and works OK, just not very good. Unfortunately Torque Pro app does not work on iPhone. Try another app before paying for this one.

Wont connect to ELM327 by device

Failed to connect, want refund

Meh

Not a bad program bc it works great with the wifi ELM327 but is finicky with certain cars. Wont read their codes... i.e. Audi.
